I lead visual direction for CNN's digital journalism across the site, social, streaming, in-app and interactive platforms, managing an international team of 7 across New York, Atlanta and London. Setting the tone of brand systems, I direct explainers and content received by millions of viewers globally.
My work has been recognized with Emmys for graphic design and art direction, along with Webbys, SPD Gold and a WGA award for animation writing and graphic art. Before CNN, I held design and art direction roles at TED Conferences, Vimeo, Al Jazeera English and Gizmodo, among others.
I grew up in Italy, spent my teens in Berlin, and later studied and worked in London before moving to New York. Having lived across Europe, Asia and the Middle East, I bring an international perspective to my design process, with a focus on calrity and an adaptable and empathy-driven mindset.
As a longtime practitioner, I also teach yoga and breathwork.
