Elisa is an Italian Jamaican art director and motion designer based in Brooklyn, NY. Raised on the Ligurian coast of Italy, she thereafter spent her adolescence living in Berlin. She then studied and worked in London as designer until an employment opportunity brought her to NYC, after stints in Asia and the Middle East. Past roles have been at TED, Gawker, Vimeo and Al Jazeera English.
She currently oversees award winning CNN Motion, an international, in-house motion graphics team dedicated to creating impactful visual content through animation and design for digital news, video explainers, branding, social media, interactives and emerging media.
Elisa spends most of her free time practicing and teaching yoga, being creative ( ❤️ interior design), in the company of friends and family, and traveling. She values creativity, wellness, balance, and social justice.
